Job Description
Anthony Products, a distributor of surgical instruments and medical supplies, is hiring a Customer Service professional within our Inside Sales team based in Indianapolis.
OPPORTUNITY:
As a member of our Customer Service / Inside Sales team, you will support our customers with orders and product inquiries. Promote the value of our medical equipment to key decision makers and reinforce their buying decisions through your knowledge and product expertise. Close to 30% of our orders are received through our website and many orders require follow-up to verify data or assist with payment processing. Further develop business from existing customers through active follow-up phone calls.
You will be well-trained by other successful members of our team and learn the ropes from the veterans. Enjoy customer interactions at medical conventions and support and assist the CEO at our exhibit booth. Reporting directly to the President, you will use your outstanding relationship building strengths to ensure our customers are provided the best experience from their trusted medical equipment supplier.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist customers with their orders and upsell when appropriate.
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and make product recommendations based on your thorough knowledge of our product line.
- Enter customer orders in our order entry software and ensure accuracy.
- Develop strategies to capitalize on selling additional products and services and renewals from existing customer base.
- Create long-term relationships with customers through regularly scheduled call activity.
- Travel to 3-4 medical conventions each year to support the CEO in booth set-up, customer interactions and processing orders.
- Conduct follow up calls on convention leads.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
- 2+ years of successful customer service or inside sales experience with demonstrated relationship building skills.
- Proven success at building rapport and productive customer relationships through effective communication and presentation skills.
- Disciplined managing customer accounts effectively with a high level of attention to detail regarding CRM and order entry.
- Energetic, confident, and assertive with a strong work ethic.
- Team player who enjoys interacting with other departments (i.e. shipping, billing) regarding customer orders.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Anthony Products will reward your sales talents with a base salary of $55-60K plus bonus potential of $5-10K.
