OPPORTUNITY:

As our Customer Service Manager, you will lead the customer service team in maintaining effective customer service and sales process administration. You will provide encouragement and empowerment to the customer service team. Coach, train, and mentor members of your team to enhance the customer experience and identify new selling opportunities within the existing customer base. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will provide direct support to the sales team and customers. Use your leadership to drive customer service to continued excellence!

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Mentor, train and develop the customer service team.
  • Coordinate and monitor adherence to sales administration processes.
  • Manage and coordinate customer service functions including order entry.
  • Interact with customers daily, responding to their questions and guide them to the appropriate resource.
  • Takes ownership of customer issues and follows problem through to resolution.
  • Coordinate and monitor adherence to sales administration processes.
  • Improve customer service quality by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implements change.
  • Monitor programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer inquiries regarding product selection, usage and technical data as well as technical service inquiries.
  • Provides input to production scheduling and communicates with production and shipping departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency on order status.
  • Actively participate in the product pricing process and communicate pricing issues to management.

 

SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Customer Service Manager.
  • Experience in the Chemical Industry or related industry preferred.
  • Proven success at building rapport and productive customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Diligent in planning and accomplishing goals.
  • Self-sufficiency with web-based CRM products, preferably Salesforce.
  • Mature, poised sound judgement with the ability to make decisions on customer service issues.
  • Effective customer facing communications.
  • Nurturing management style, yet direct when needed.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Organic Dyes & Pigments will reward your leadership ability with base salary of $55 - $65K, plus annual incentive bonus. You will also receive a competitive benefit package that includes, health, dental, and a 401(k)retirement plan.
