Director of Customer Support / Software
Our client, a software solutions company is hiring a Director of Customer Support in Chicago, IL.

As our Director of Customer Support, you will lead a team of support specialists in pre-sale, implementation, and post-sale support. The team works cohesively with Sales and Product specialists to ensure customer satisfaction with customer retention as a primary goal. Your support team is the backbone of our client’s success. You will be instrumental in leading a customer centric team that exemplifies a culture of team work and excellence.
- Manage strategic direction of support and implementation team
- Hire, train and mentor team members and provide leadership
- Develop and implement performance standards
- Track, analyze, and report on, and optimize customer support metrics for on premise and cloud hosted solutions
- Collaborate with department heads and work cohesively with sales and product support teams
- Work closely with customers on escalated support issues
- Capitalize on upsell opportunities within our customer base
- Participate in leadership meetings and promote our company mission, vision and values
- 5+ years of experience in software support
- 3+ years of managing a support team with hiring and mentoring responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business or related field
- Exceptional ability to build cohesive, successful team environments
- Excels in an entrepreneurial environment that embraces new product and strategies

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
