Mobile Aspects, a global hospital operations software company, is hiring a new Business Development Representative based in Illinois.
OPPORTUNITY:
As our Midwest Business Development Representative, you will prospect and close customer accounts within the Midwest territory of IL, IN, MO, IA, WI and MN. Call on hospital administrators, hospital department chairs, and C-suite executives to review their site’s existing solutions and workflow. Your past success in selling to hospitals along with your software technology knowledge will help you succeed in developing new business. Reporting to CEO/Head of Sales, your multi-million dollar per year sales achievement will be handsomely rewarded monetarily.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Identify new business opportunities within the market and generate leads through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Mine company database to identify targets and formulate lead lists.
- Meet or exceed sales targets of 6-10 new health systems per year by promoting our software solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Meet with hospital administrators, hospital department chairs, and C-suite executives to review their site’s existing solutions and workflow.
- Understand customer pain points, identify what their existing systems are lacking and apply our solution to their business needs.
- Draft customer quotes and present quotes with decision makers.
- Address and overcome customer objectives and concerns with different hospital stakeholders such as supply chain, IT, facilities, and executive suite.
- Negotiate pricing with customers and secure signed agreements and purchase orders.
- Maintain CRM records on sales activity and communications using HubSpot.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
- Driven to achieve and close new deals consistently.
- Experience selling large capital solutions into the hospital market.
- Software or other technology sales experience is highly preferred.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) knowledge is helpful.
- A customer-centric approach with the ability to identify customer pain points and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Proven track record of developing new business with the discipline to pursue prospects aggressively through the sales process.
- Able to travel within territory.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Mobile Aspects will reward your sales talents with a compensation plan that includes a six -figure base salary plus an uncapped commission plan. First year on-target earnings (OTE) expected to be $200k-$250k+. You will enjoy a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid vacation. A company laptop will be provided. Mileage and other travel expenses are reimbursed. Office remotely from home.
