Our industrial automation clients are hiring sales representatives in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Texas. 


Our clients are always on the hunt for outstanding sales professionals who excel in driving new business in the material handling and industrial automation market. You will identify and convert new potential customers and deepen relationships with existing customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a innovative material handling leader and help customers solve problems with automated systems. Success in this position requires solid sales acumen with technical solutions, problem-solving, and a strong drive to generate new business.

  • Drive new business through effective prospecting, sales process initiatives, lead management, and closing qualified opportunities.
  • Develop and support sales strategies and objectives to expand market share in the region.
  • Establish professional relationships with key decision makers.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of prospects.
  • Meet targets for established sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customers’ needs.
  • Perform sales/technical presentations.



  • 2+ years of experience in selling automation solutions and/or technical outside sales
  • Driven, competitive, and disciplined to achieve sales success.
  • Knowledge of the Industrial Automation market
  • Competent user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Tech savvy user of mobile, internet, and software applications.
  • Effective sales communicator, which includes listening, questioning, and qualifying leads.  
  • Necessary time management skills to handle sales activity, including extensive follow-up requirements.
