Wesmar Company, a chemical cleaning solutions provider, is hiring a Service Technician in the eastern WA area (Wenatchee. Tri-Cities, Quincy)
OPPORTUNITY
Join our Customer Service Technician team and help our food manufacturing customers develop and maintain effective food safety and sanitation programs. You will service existing customers and assist with new customer installations throughout the eastern region of Washington state. Build credibility by working closely with customers to provide necessary training on product usage. Reporting to the Senior Area Manager and Director of Sales, your objective is to achieve customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Perform service visits for cleaning and sanitation of proper equipment.
- Execute required chemistry tests using eService reporting software for logging and reporting data and maintain product inventories at customer locations.
- Assist with equipment installations during service visits and new customer installations.
- Develop a relationship with customers (front-line and leadership) to provide insights on solutions and best practices.
- Identify opportunities within accounts to grow and introduce new products/processes, including cleaning, sanitation, and water treatment.
- Communicate and report activities to leadership and sales and service team and attend weekly virtual meetings.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment throughout our clients’ facilities.
- Continue your Wesmar education by completing training programs.
SUCCESS FACTORS
- 2+ years of experience as a customer service technician with a mechanical mindset.
- Prior experience with chemical cleaning treatment in a food manufacturing environment is ideal, but not required.
- Bilingual, fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Able to travel weekly and stay overnight (2-3 nights/mo) within the eastern region of Washington state.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must to effectively work with customers to educate on safety procedures.
- Relationship driven with ability to be articulate and converse well with customers.
- Detail oriented and ability to document effectively and completely.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Wesmar Company will reward your talents with a base salary of $65-70K with a competitive employee benefit plan including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), HSA, FSA, and life insurance. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
