Legacy Builders, a single community home builder, in partnership with Bedford Falls Carmel, is hiring a General Superintendent in Indianapolis for its high-end 34 home community named Bedford Falls of Carmel. Bringing “Custom” to Single Builder Age Qualified Housing.
OPPORTUNITY:
As our Site Superintendent, you will be onsite daily to oversee and coordinate subcontractors (carpenters, electricians, material suppliers, painters, etc.) to ensure all 34 homes in our community are completed on schedule, within budget, and achieved with client satisfaction. Your thorough understanding of residential construction and single builder communities, along with a keen sense of project management will have a positive impact on the profitability of our projects.
Work closely with our Senior Partner/Project Manager and subcontractors to deliver quality services that our high-end residential customers expect. If you are tired of the “corporate” production home builder world, you will enjoy paving your own path as the “go to person” for all field issues with limited corporate bureaucracy.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- In-field management of clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities to facilitate and expedite the project schedule.
- Examine and inspect work progress at construction site to ensure specifications are met.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination of assigned projects between all disciplines and all project participants.
- Recognize issues throughout construction and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners throughout the construction process.
- Provide daily, weekly project status to Project Manager.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
- 5 years of field supervisory and/or single builder community construction management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or similar degree) preferred or equivalent work experience coming up through the field.
- Experience with overall project oversight and scheduling with high level ability to plan and accomplish desired results.
- Proven success at building rapport and communication effectively with homeowners and subcontractors.
- Problem solver who can anticipate issues and effective correct.
- Driven mentality to achieve results with a quality home product.
COMPENSATION:
Legacy Builders will reward your talents with a salary of $60K – $90K depending on the level of experience. Career advancement opportunities are available as we develop more communities and expand our brand.
